Agriculture is the practice of cultivating plants and livestock. Agriculture was the key development in the rise of sedentary human civilization, whereby farming of domesticated species created food surpluses that enabled people to live in cities. The history of agriculture began thousands of years ago. India is currently the world's second-largest producer of several dry fruits, agriculture-based textile raw materials, roots and tuber crops, pulses, farmed fish, eggs, coconut, sugarcane, and numerous vegetables.
This module aims to focus on providing a knowledge base to the student about various common entrepreneurship models in the field of Agriculture and allied Sector so that he can choose an appropriate field to peruse his or her career or business idea.
